Endorsement Vote

The CDC members will vote on the recommendations of both nominating committees. All Precinct Executives for precincts located in the City of Cincinnati are members of the CDC. For the CPS School Board endorsement recommendation vote, Precinct Executives representing precincts located in the CPS footprint will vote. The meeting date for the endorsement vote will be determined after the nominating committees complete their work.

As previously communicated, to ensure our endorsed candidates are not part of another political party’s slate, which could promote candidates the Democratic Party has not had an opportunity to interview, vet and endorse, we will not endorse candidates who have been endorsed by another political party. (i.e. The Republican party, Charter Party, Green Party or any other political party operating in the City of Cincinnati.) Therefore, we will not consider any candidate that has accepted the endorsement of another political party.

As in previous election cycles, we pledge a fair and transparent process as we consider endorsements. We look forward to a strong coordinated campaign to be sure we elect Democrats to our city and school board leadership. Questions regarding this process should be directed to:
