Who are the elected 
Our Elected Officials page includes all endorsed Democratic leaders serving at the federal, state, county, city, and judicial levels, including judges and school board members.

To register as a voter in Ohio, including as a Democrat, you simply need to:

  1. Register to vote online, by mail, or in person.
    Register online at VoteOhio.gov →

  2. Declare your party affiliation when you vote in a partisan primary.
    In Ohio, you don’t register with a political party on your voter registration form. Instead, you become affiliated with a party when you request that party’s ballot during a primary election—for example, by asking for a Democratic ballot during the next primary.

  3. Vote Democratic in primary elections to maintain your affiliation.

Candidates are screened by our Nominating Committee and must earn support from either the HCDP Executive or Central Committee. Once endorsed, they’re included on our official HCDP Slate Card.
