Information about the 2025 CDC Endorsement Process
CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Democratic Committee, made up of Hamilton County Democratic Party Precinct Executives in the city of Cincinnati, will consider the endorsement of Mayor, Cincinnati City Council and School Board members in May of this year.
The endorsement process will include a candidate questionnaire, interviews with candidates the nominating committees believe merit an interview, and selection of candidates to nominate for endorsement.
The CDC members will vote on the recommendations of the nominating committees at a meeting in May. All Democratic Party Precinct Executives located in the City of Cincinnati are members of the CDC. For the CPS School Board endorsement recommendation vote, Precinct Executives representing precincts located in the CPS footprint will vote.
The meeting date for the endorsement vote will be determined and shared after the nominating committees are selected and the endorsement process timeline is finalized.
